Just a word from another language. We use French or Latin or Spanish words/sayings all the time, and that's not racist. The word “pow wow” is derived from the Narragansett word powwaw, meaning "spiritual leader".[1] The term itself has different variants including Powaw, Pawaw, Powah and Pawau.
