That was in the 60's when a bunch of crazy songs were occasionally hitting the charts including "Mrs. Miller" singing "Downtown" and other songs offkey, Allan Sherman's "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" (Camp Grenada Song) and culminating a few years later with Tiny Tim and "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" - he married his love, Miss Vicky, on TV (Tonight Show with Johnny Carson?).

Here's Tiny Tim on "Rowen and Martin's Laugh In" - that's Goldie Hawn giving the flowers at the end.
