Road Runner Posted July 14, 2014 Share #2 Posted July 14, 2014 I'm watching. I don't think I've ever seen so much rain in the Tour before.
TrentonMakes Posted July 14, 2014 Share #3 Posted July 14, 2014 This is a stage I'm really disappointed not to be able to see live.... I see from the news feed that Contador crashed and lost four minutes to the peloton? edit - oh, the peloton waited for him. But Kwiatkowski didn't. Parr8hed Posted July 14, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted July 14, 2014 Contador just crashed. They are saying that his frame snapped and that's what caused him to crash. He's 4 min back but looks pretty shaky. He has his whole team to pace him back up. Crashes have been crazy this year!
Randomguy Posted July 14, 2014 Share #5 Posted July 14, 2014 I am recording it, but don't really care about spoilers so much. Taking RB to the doctor about her baboon ass shortly. She still has the squirts, too, but isn't so egregious.

All I said was he didn't wait - I didn't intend to imply he should have, or that it was poor form. You're right, he has no reason to.

Parr8hed Posted July 14, 2014 Author Share #10 Posted July 14, 2014 Contador just abandoned. Nibali's chances are looking pretty good, as are Porte's. TeeJay and Talansky's chances just got better as well. It really sucks for someone to bust their ass and train and have to abandon because of a crash. It also sucks to win a tour but always have that shadow cast over you of having won, "but that was the year without Froomie or Contador".

TrentonMakes Posted July 14, 2014 Share #13 Posted July 14, 2014 It was pretty intriguing the other day when Contador tried to shake Nibali on that climb but couldn't. I was really looking forward to seeing whether he could do so on the big climbs.

No Wiggins (not invited), no Froome, no Contador, no Cavendish, terrible wreckage (especially TJ and Talansky), ridiculous fans endangering riders, torrential rains, floods, pestilence, dogs and cats sleeping together.... And that's just the first week... Edited per TM.

Former member Posted July 14, 2014 Share #19 Posted July 14, 2014 With 3 Frenchies in the breakaway on Bastille Day, there's a pretty good chance that they will make a huge effort for the win today. Will the effort be enough for Kwiatkowski to take the yellow?

He could surrender a couple of minutes to TJ or Porte and still win.

Hell, there is an 18% around here and my bike wants to pop a wheelie all by itself on that one.
