Dirtyhip Posted July 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 14, 2014 on my ride yesterday morning. One of them started to run down the trail. It was kind of wobbly as it scampered down the trail. I just held back and followed slowly behind. Cute little sucker.

Dirtyhip Posted July 14, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted July 14, 2014 You killed it and ate it, didn't you? I talked to K about it on the way home. I did say that I bet it was tender at that age.
kingtermite Posted July 14, 2014 Share #4 Posted July 14, 2014 I saw one on Saturday just as we were turning in to the parking lot of the park we were launching the kayaks from on our trip. It wasn't quite a fawn, but it was pretty young. Very pretty.

Kzoo Posted July 14, 2014 Share #7 Posted July 14, 2014 Ha, That's cute. I saw a litter of little opossums on the side of the road the other day. I had to dodge between their dead little bodies scattered across the shoulder of the highway.
Kirby Posted July 15, 2014 Share #8 Posted July 15, 2014 There was a dear deer family in my backyard this weekend. I saw the little fawn first, all spotty and cute. But then I saw mom nearby and a young dad with very small and still sort of fuzzy antlers. Not only were they sweet, they were eating the plant that's all overgrown, so good for them!
