Razors Edge ★ Posted March 14, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2020 ...is that folks are getting OUTSIDE and enjoying nature, rather than gathering in malls, theaters, or all-you-can-eat buffets! Yesterday, with the lovely weather, kids out of school, and parents home from work, it was like a summer holiday outside. Folks walking, jogging, cycling, etc., and kids/families everywhere.
maddmaxx ★ Posted March 14, 2020 Share #2 Posted March 14, 2020 My trail is crowded with touristas. I wish they'd stay home like they're supposed to. 1
Dirtyhip Posted March 14, 2020 Share #3 Posted March 14, 2020 I expect grocery stores to be dead soon, cause everyone stocked up for the year.
sheep_herder ★ Posted March 14, 2020 Share #4 Posted March 14, 2020 Currently 28F with wind chill of 14F with wind gusts of 31mph. We'll be outside, but not so much for having fun, but to take care of the critters and making a run to ACE to get a bag of free pop corn.
sheep_herder ★ Posted March 14, 2020 Share #5 Posted March 14, 2020 Should I be worried about eating the canned Mandarian oranges from China, that I like to eat with cottage cheese? We also eat fresh oranges of various types.
ChrisL Posted March 14, 2020 Share #6 Posted March 14, 2020 The weather has been crappy in SoCal. Although not the Armageddon storms the news reported on its been cool & rainy all week and more of the same is in store for this coming week. Not many folks doing outdoor activities this weekend. Page Turner Posted March 14, 2020 Share #8 Posted March 14, 2020 ...two days ago we hit a high temp of 80*. Today (thank god) there's a classic colder winter storm moving through that's supposed to dump 4-5 feet of March snow up in the Sierra. I need to finish pruning the mandarin orange tree. No drought for you! We've gotten drilled this year. Every other day I hear about another foot of snow being dumped in the Cascades.
Prophet Zacharia Posted March 14, 2020 Share #11 Posted March 14, 2020 I wonder what percent of this hoarding group bothered to get a flu shot this season. 1
Dottleshead ★ Posted March 14, 2020 Share #12 Posted March 14, 2020 Count me in. I didn't bother so much when I was younger. But I don't miss now that I'm older.
