Razors Edge ★ Posted March 17, 2020 Share #3 Posted March 17, 2020 Cute! I let my pup self-direct the walk this evening. Over an hour in, I started directing her the right direction. She was a sniffing and peeing machine AND she saw kitties TWICE - one grey tabby and another black and white one. The grey one was ready to defend his turf! All puffed up and not backing down. I had to slowly walk her past him to prevent a misunderstanding
Forum Administrator Posted March 17, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted March 17, 2020 He’s still sleeping. I don’t know if this suggestion will work for others, but take the bed with you if you get the dog from a shelter It has been a source of comfort for him Of course, you need to buy the shelter a new bed... and some new toys while you are at it
Scrapr ★ Posted March 17, 2020 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2020 I see those beds all over. Looks like he likes it. How do you like it. I have a couple of Costco plush beds. But I'm thinking about this kind for my new puppy

I do wish we had a smaller one to fit in his crate. It’s a $20 bed from chewy.com so it’s not a huge investment if your dog doesn’t like it. petitepedal ★ Posted March 17, 2020 Share #8 Posted March 17, 2020 Now what did you settle on for a name?
Forum Administrator Posted March 17, 2020 Author Share #9 Posted March 17, 2020 We did Scout. My oldest liked it because she just read To Kill a Mockingbird. This carries on the tradition of naming dogs (and kids) after literature.
