Dirtyhip Posted July 15, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted July 15, 2014 HAHA, Sox! Actually, grip shift makes a ton of sense on a fat bike. This bike is often rode in the snow with big thick gloves on. Try and operate rapid fire with big 'ol mitts. Oh wait....that's right....a sissy pants like you can't handle the cold. http://youtu.be/MDtSf9pseOw

Former member Posted July 15, 2014 Share #9 Posted July 15, 2014 I don't like cold weather, because I don't like to wear a lot of clothes. Cold weather won't kill me. What's your excuse for not riding when it's 90 degrees?

Dirtyhip Posted July 15, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted July 15, 2014 I use grip shifts on my commuter. I liked that style when I switched to trekking bars. This bike came equipped with grip shift I left it on there, because of the mitten thing. I will need that come winter time. It works really well with bar mitts too. Dirtyhip Posted July 15, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted July 15, 2014 What's your excuse for not riding when it's 90 degrees? Some black holes in my brain and a damaged spinal cord.

The only "innovation" worse than Dual Control levers, was Rapid Rise derailleurs.
