Popular Post Longjohn ★ Posted March 24, 2020 Popular Post Share #1 Posted March 24, 2020 Was interesting. I was my doctor’s first online doctor visit. She looked amazing, I considered taking a screenshot for the forum but I resisted. I’m going to give in and start taking a statin for my cholesterol, the stress of being a caregiver and not getting enough exercise is taking it’s toll. If my situation changes in the next six months we will discuss wether to continue. 5 1
Longjohn ★ Posted March 25, 2020 Author Share #2 Posted March 25, 2020 This was my PCP, she doesn’t grope me looking for lymphomas like my oncologist does so I didn’t miss anything by having a virtual appointment.

Airehead Posted March 25, 2020 Share #5 Posted March 25, 2020 I also had a visit with my dermatologist yesterday. She face timed me, looked at my rash, said it was stress related and prescribed some goop for it. Then we talked about her son, who is a student in my program. Dermatology works well as teletreatment. 1

I always have some stuff frozen and usually some cutting involved too.

I figure you could do self surgical procedures with good instructions from the doctor.

I can take my own stitches out. I couldn’t do it on the ones on my back.
Airehead Posted March 25, 2020 Share #9 Posted March 25, 2020 Good point. Hopefully today the pharmacy will have my prescriptions. Yesterday they called to say they did not have the one in stock and it would be in today.

That is a really nice change in the prescription drug business. The only problem is if you need a narcotic you have to hand deliver a hard copy to the druggist. I have gone without since that change.
