TrentonMakes Posted July 21, 2014 Share #4 Posted July 21, 2014 I finally figured out what this pumping business is about - looks like a blast. ..... apparently there's a track in northern NJ, a good hour and a half from here. Another one, quite a bit closer to us, has closed.

Dirtyhip Posted July 21, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted July 21, 2014 I finally figured out what this pumping business is about - looks like a blast. It is so fun. You'd be surprised what a workout it is. A few laps, like say 8 or so, and I am out of breath. We take turns. Do some laps, hand over the bike to the next victim. Sort of embarrassing when you fly over the handlebars, because EVERYONE is watching. I am happy that I know how to do it enough to not pedal at all, once I get going. Addicting.
