Pajamas are too formal and high maintenance

I am watching "All in the Family", and it is nightime.  Archie, Gloria, and Meathead are all wearing pajamas.  This seems fussy to me.

Do you really need a special garment to sleep in?  I sure don't, a pair of sweatpants and a tshirt is fine and comfortable and I don't need to change into something else when I am ready to close my eyes for the night.   Plus, pajamas are far from attractive, too.

Do you wear pajamas?  Why/why not?

No...., not since I was 8 years old.  No t-shirt, no sweats.  I run hot and being that wrapped up seems gross to me.  Even in a tent in the arctic in February, it was down to underwear for me

Except for the arctic part, yeah me too.  Most nights my wife is in a night gown & bundled while I’m shirtless in boxers with  the blankets kicked off.

Nope. I sleep in my underwear.  I don't own pajamas.

If I am not feeling well - like with a cold in the winter - I will wear some flannel pants, a t-shirt, and/or socks.  Otherwise, I get WAY TOO HOT in anything more than underwear.
