There are various things one can do and my favourite is to drink Brandy.....not that it helps at all but eventually you just don't care whether you sleep or not. If it would ease to your conscience you can drink Brandy in a mug of hot chocolate...or Horlicks. Reading is good....or even writing...but it doesn't really matter, as whatever you do you're going to be completely knackered the next day. The trick is....not to care to much as otherwise the worry about not being able to sleep....will stop you sleeping. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MickinMD ★ Posted April 16, 2020 Share #8 Posted April 16, 2020 Whether I crawl into bed at 11 pm or fall asleep in the recliner and get to bed 3-5 am, I wake up about 3 hours later - except for the days I take Jake for a walk.
