He told me that he was named after Hank Williams...
He also loved The Bee Gees.

@wolfpack, did you see this?
Got it, thank you!
I have been so busy with my work and traveling to the mountains of NW North Carolina, I haven't checked in as often. I SO very much wanted to go to the service, but I think I'm going to have to do the live stream. Damnit.

OK, here is the most recent.
I've had a 2011 BMW G650GS, traded that for a 2014 Ducati Monster 797. The 797, I totaled in September 2015. Replaced with a 2015 Monster 821 Stripe. Sold that one to my gun store friends nephew down in Florida back in June or July of 2021. Bought a 2021 Ducati Scrambler Nightshift a month later. Traded that one for what you see now, a 2021 Monster Plus, in Aviator Grey w red wheels (has full Terminogni exhaust, removed the horrendous tail thing, plus a few other things changed).

I always read Cheese posts with a SC genteel drawl.
I knew him as well and yes he did.

Me too.
Can't tell you how I'm feeling since I didn't contact him at Christmas & wish him well. Our last text was 12/14.
I'll tell y'all this, after losing Hank and a friend unexpectedly losing her husband on 12/11 - Take all the chances with your person. Tell your person you love them each and every day. Take ALL the pictures. Because you never know when either one of you will be gone....

He was so quirky, but such a wonderful man. I'm so very glad that I was able to meet him back in 2009, the day after I had just completed the Assault on Mt Mitchell. He was SO good to my Dad and I am forever thankful & blessed that I had him in my life during that time. I'm so glad that I kept in touch with him throughout the years after my Dad passed and especially that I got to see him in April of last year. So genuine, thoughtful, caring. Smart man too - great advice/thoughts/suggestions as I pursued buying land in the mountains of NC and building a house.
Love you Cheesenips & gonna miss you terribly.

Do you know his age? Gina has 2 cousins that died recently from covid. Both early 50s. 😯
I believe he was a yr younger than myself, so maybe 55, going to be 56 this month IIRC.

I can't fucking believe this. son of a bitch
Cycling across country with Airwick and Agape. Never remarried, we sorta "dated" for a bit and he was a tremendous help to me when my Dad had dementia/Alzheimer's and he was living in an assisted living in Greenville. Hank & my Dad were like 2 peas in a pod. He never mentioned to me that he had remarried, but if he did, I'm so sorry for his wife's loss. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
Damnit.
