You realize you could have picked up your Volvo in the mother country. Volvo buys your plane ticket RT plus a night in a very nice hotel
I agree the V70 wagon was a workhorse. I had a V60 for about 2 years and it just did not haul enough stuff for me
The one Volvo I want, of every Volvo ever made, is the T5-R turbo wagon.

You know, these commercials with the bears in them.
They say "Our TP is ultra-absorbent so you can use less".
I'm trying to understand how anyone would re-wipe using sections of TP they've already wiped with. It isn't making sense to me.

The people who used Griddy are screwed
As if we couldn't have already proven how bad deregulation was with airlines and cable television.
The moment you're actually doing the equivalent of day-trading to get your electricity, one would hope they'd know this is a bad idea.

So you're saying you run a chop shop?

So Texas does not suck?
Well, they certainly do suck down electricity, natural gas, and petroleum products, when available.
I heard it from my friend Griddy.

I thought it was very interesting that in an interview Pastis said all cartoonists adore Charles Shulz, and Pig is Charlie Brown, and Rat is Lucy.
And you gotta admire Zeba for staying uneaten all these years.
I adore Charles Schultz myself.
I understood Charlie Brown very well indeed.

Pig is still always my favorite. The somewhat clueless optimist, ever bumbling, yet never being brought down by it.

$100 will get you a very nice bourbon. Without going too insane, I'd look at the following:
- Elijah Craig Barrel Proof
- Blanton's Single Barrel
- Blood Oath Pact No. 6
I'm definitely on the less expensive side...when I buy bourbon, it's usually Buffalo Trace.
Right now, I went to whiskey instead, I have a Bushmill's 10 year single malt in the larder.

Very nice!....I may have to start looking soon...I want a new vehicle in about 4 years
Whereupon every vehicle on the market will be different, starting your search again.
Very briefly owned a 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport hatchback in Lapis Blue, for WoLW (5 months). Sold it to my parents last fall, with 30k miles on it, only 5k due to our driving.
The 2019-2020 used would likely be the perfect car for you; not much has changed. The Sport adds better suspension and handling/braking, more durable seats, Apple CarPlay (I can't recommend this feature enough), heated seats, and has the whole safety package. Between that and the AWD, the only reason I didn't keep it was I wanted something a little more sporty in the acceleration department (the Subbie is competent, but it's not "peppy" either).
If Subaru ever comes our with a sporty WRX hatch again like they did nearing a decade ago, you can be sure I'll be interested.

Isn't that what the rest of the world calls a diesel?
I'm getting back to this very late, but no. It's a gasoline engine. Only Europe is getting it for now. Mazda's name for it is SkyActiv-X. To be fair, it does use some ideas from diesel.

Haven't you been paying attention? We're never kicking the ICE habit - period. This isn't rocket science! We cannot "electrify" our country out of the 19th century no matter how hard we try. It just is what it is. You'd be wiser investing your energy in bicycling tech - and not the nonsense ebike fad - because at least that attracts the cool hipsters who can have side gigs as influencers.
TL;DR - science is hard, we are lazy.
On the flipside, pretty much all our tech on the Moon base and the Martian cities will be electric-centric. We're gonna build it that way from the start, so no need to worry about smog up there!
We can't completely.
But we can do some pretty cool things that will help us greatly. Like Mazda's Direct Compression Ignition engine, which greatly ups fuel economy. I was interested, then Mazda got worried the US wouldn't go for it (a little lower horsepower than their upper-end 4cyl turbo but still reasonable) and only gave it to Europe.
Between that, and other new technologies, we may be able to increase efficiency, decrease emissions, and make energy more renewable, even if we won't ever hit zero. We even found out for a time how much Covid lockdowns decreased country-wide and worldwide emissions, an indicator of how we could positively impact the future if we could even lower emissions across the hundreds of thousands of vehicles out there.

Apparently there were thousands of random guys there that never got charged. Personally, I believe the identities of many more are known to authorities that haven’t been charged for anything.
May also be good to let some of the minor ones (but known to have affiliations with hate groups) on a long leash to see if it leads to dismantling those hate/domestic terror groups.

My boss new someone that is part of the vaccination project here in the city.
While I couldn't get a regular appointment, the someone was part of a group that would find out if there were going to be leftover doses near the end of a night (that would otherwise have to be destroyed, as they cannot be refrigerated).
I got my first Pfizer dose Thursday night. Which also puts you in the list to schedule a second dose. Friday, my shoulder was muscle sore (despite relaxing for the shot, needles don't bother me), but it has since gone away. No other side effects.

A lot of people were doing it for her. Which was good. She was still here, after all, when the effort started, and this was something we thought we could fight. And she was very loved.
I'm thankful to them. But I'm thankful to you all -because you were doing it for me.

I'm doing okay. Admittedly, my own mind probably shields me some (not as avoidance, probably just out of sympathetic protection) from those seven weeks.
I have a great job with supportive people. One of my colleagues has become a friend beyond work; I sometimes have game night with him and his fiance' and another friend. We will probably have our bar trivia team again too once this Covid mess is over. I've also had them over for movie night. I had my first annual performance review in November, and I got a reasonable raise.
The cats are good company. Yoshi makes sure to love me, the Jack needs love (emotionally needy, which does me good sometimes), and Luna, aka JudgyCat, is comic relief. They usually sleep around me at night, so we all keep each other warm. I'm also glad the winter here has been really mild for Michigan; we've had little snow, and the temperature has often stayed several degrees above freezing. I really haven't needed my snow tires (though they've been on since late November).
My church started a meal train for me this past week, which was really nice of them. It's not a need, but they wanted to do something and it is a comfort. It also ensures I don't eat bad food all of the time. Myself, a colleague, and our boss also decided to try a prepared meal subscription by Freshly at work; it's not super expensive, and it's healthier food. I'll update when I've had some of it, it's supposed to start this week.
I'm back on the treadmill, this is my third week. I'm trying to get in three times a week, usually around 3.5-3.75 miles at the moment, but I'm ramping up; I did four miles this past Friday. Getting my heart and lungs back in shape.
I'm a bit of an introvert, so I don't mind being alone as much as some; it helps me recharge. In fact, it's often peaceful, which I'm thankful for.
