I hope the wolves changed their mind and decided to get their dinner from Denny's so no one got hurt.
I don't cook for the animals and nobody calls me Denny.

DUDE!!! I think you just changed my life with this post. I am going to make this.
I followed this recipe. I used yukon golds and mustard greens. It was crazy good.

Purging feels good. I downsized when I moved. If it didn't fit in my car I got rid of it. Living in 600 sq ft feels good.

I don't eat a lot of potatoes, but I recently made colcannon. It is delicious. Potatoes and greens all in one.

This morning the officer said that there was no sign that he was under impairment. So the three things I can think of are:
- Distracted driving
- Excessive speed
- Trying to avoid an animal.
The cop must be wrong. Dottles said he was drunk.

We've been lucky again and hitting a dry patch after Monday afternoon rain washed away almost all the snow.
It's only 30° right now at 7:50 am, but it will soar to 43° by 9:20 am when I drive to the Walgreen's where I'm getting my 1st dose of Moderna COVID Vaccine. The high today is supposed to be 63°! We haven't seen that for months!
The ground's too wet to walk the hilly bike trails I like with doggie Jake, but sunny and 63° should dry them out so we can go tomorrow when the high is still a decent sunny 50°, though a bit breezy.
How is that lucky?

Normally when does all the snow melt in your area so one can go hiking without much mud?
To me, that's the harder part of living in beautiful mountain areas with lots of winter snow...the winter just drags on long.
We have snow year round in the upper elevations. You can hike year round, but you have to pick the right trails. We start mountain biking in mid to late May.

Reading about the Tigger being taken to the hospital made me wonder about ambulance rides.
I got hit in the face with a hockey stick, coach called an ambulance. 7 stitches through my eyebrow & an awesome bruise diagonally across my cheek.
How about y'all?

I won't change anything. Masks are still required here. I haven't been to a restaurant in almost a year.

I wear glasses or prescription sunglasses on every ride. I typically ski with them too. Contacts are better for skiing so you don't fog, but I'm often too lazy to put my contacts in.

Loved the scene in dumb and dumber when the briefcase that used to be full of cash was now full of ious. But it was just as good as cash because they were good for it.

It was a purely manufactured high price. It's like the pump-and-dump schemes where a group makes a lot of buys to jack a stock price up, calls and investors list by phone to try to sell them on a hot stock, sell near the high point, then disappear as the stock plummets.
I mentioned it here and mentioned it on a lot of financial forums and news stories comments: Gamestop has lost money for 10 consecutive quarters - beginning LONG before the pandemic and there's no end in sight. The only way to make money here was to find the next-greater-fool.
A guy in his 20's or early 30's interviewed on CNN was part of the Reddit group, was earning $35K/year, had invested $4500 and it was worth over $1,000,000 at the time of the interview. He said he was going to "let it ride and make more." NONE of the experts asked him if he had considered selling half and locking in a half-million profit before taxes. Right now, he has about $10,000 if he's still foolish enough to hold it.
Why do you call him a fool and foolish? He made a bunch of money, used it to pay off debt and his taxes, and still has investments. I don't see anything foolish there. It kind of seems practical.

We were told we got a raise. It was not in our check so I guess it was an IOU.

It’s different. I drank it straight over ice. Not something to get hammered on.
would you drink it again or spend $20 on a bottle?
