I'm part of some work walking challenge thing and trying to get in 10,000 steps a day but seldom hit it.
You should retire.
For the last 5 days I've been doing yard work.
First I got the JD up and running after its winter sleep. Installed a mulching kit on the mower deck. The 3 munching blades must be a bit longer than the old blades. I mowed some grass as a test, and 2 of the blades were hitting each other. I had to move one of the mower deck spindles to gain a bit more blade clearance.
Then 4 days of raking the twigs, leaves, walnuts, acorns, etc... out of the lawn. Next is spreading 5 bags (75,000 sq ft) of fertilizer.

It's too hot here too. About 22 degrees above normal at 80 degrees.
I did rake all of the debris from our trees. That took a while over the last 4 days.

Iran has no idea what a shit storm is coming.
Neither do we know what is coming. Our borders have been so open we have NO idea who and with what has entered our country.

I'm just curious how others around the country feel about the cost?
I just figured the cost is what it is.. if I wanted to stay overnight at the place.
Once we stayed at a Motel 6. I just had to stop driving and sleep. Whatever I paid it was too much.
In London, it was a long time ago and if I recall that was at least $500 a night for 8 or 9 nights. It was a nice place.
Just have fun... and enjoy the trip.

People at work would mock me because I'd always use a mouse.
WoBG's desktop has a mouse. She likes it too.

Touchpad is disabled except if the mouse is not being used. No need for a touchpad.

I use my work laptop as a "desktop" except it is 100% portable when I want to go somewhere, and it is never affected by power outages. It's nice to have a 100% capable & completely portable solution.
No need to carry a mouse. I use my ThinkPad TrackPoint. I liked it soooo much at work, when I needed a new computer at home I purchased an ThinkPad to use the TrackPoint. It does have a touchpad, but I never use it.

When (in order of probability):
- They toss me oot on my ass (fix the glitch)
- I get a new boss, unless by some fortunate situation he/she/they is actually good!
- A package comes along.
- I finally realize life is too short to keep working
1) That's called being fired.
2) Some bosses are indeed self serving.
3) I'm sorry to say, that I knew more than a few people who were waiting for 'the package'. That never came.
4) That was my choice.
You will KNOW when it is your time to retire.

I'll go with Maxx's opinion about the movie.

That will be my plan.
When WoBG and I will see an add for a remake movie we are just amazed with the lack of originality from Hollywood. Most remakes are just attempts to cash in on the success of the original movie.

The weather is going to be nice here.
I'll finish raking all the stuff that the trees deposited on my grass over the winter. And then I'll fertilize the grass. The raking will take the longest.

I hate valet parking!
This.
I avoid it just about all the time.
The only time we had to use valet parking was when we stayed at the Capital Hilton hotel in Washington DC. We used our car only once during that week for a day trip. We walked everywhere or used the subway while we were in DC.
My 2005 Prius survived the valet parking. I have NO idea where they parked the car. I probably don't want to know.

The seats and lids are always down. That keeps the dogs from drinking where they shouldn't.

Having a girlfriend.... I don't have to guess... that would piss WoBG off a lot.
I don't need anymore problems.

This...
We like this place in Rockford for beer and food. It's on the Rock River downtown with outdoor seating.
