    I didn't know that.

My son's HS team (Franklin Central, Indianapolis) played Seymour in football a couple of years.  There were a few Melencamps on their team that year.  One of our team dads walked over to the the info.  The kid was a cousin to John Mellencamp (or nephew or some relative).

What the heck??? Your main residence will still be in AZ, especially in the winter. Wuuuuuutt???????  :scratchhead:

Welcome to the Midwest even tho it's only part-time. :D

P.S. Pretty brave. Not sure I could do something that big.

I grew up in Indiana, and lived in Illinois and Ohio after college, and in Indianapolis for 11 years before moving to AZ, so, yeah I know about the Midwest.

I dont know if it is brave, or carrying on. It has been helpful to be around my son, DIL, and grandkids.  I knew I would spend summers there with them.

  3. I’m getting into a new routine. Not sure what it is though, but it usually means, falling asleep watching tv then waking up and turning things off and going to bed. Bike rides in AZ start early April thru October, so the waking up tends to be more routine, unfortunately even on the days I could sleep in.

Do you ever make sun tea?  That is always fun and seems to taste different from the slow, cooler, steeping process.   My grandmother would boil the water and dissolve a metric crapton of sugar in it, then pour that over the teas bags.  I grew up in a Lipton tea family.

BTW, did you know Sir Lipton, or maybe it was Lord Lipton, funded a lot of the English challengers for the America's Cup sailing trophy back in the day?  Many of his boats were named Shamrock....

We used to make sun tea, but have not for a while here in Phoenix.  In Minnesota we/I have a sun tea jar that I use most of the summer.  I use Luzianne tea in it.  Here in Phoenix I make iced tea with a Mr Coffee iced tea maker I got as a gift years ago.  4 Luzianne tea bags, and 10 packs of Equal .  I do have some Earl Grey tea for occasional use, and some peppermint tea (courtesy of the Sunshine Committee).
