The clouds started breaking up around 12:30. At times the sun was fully obscured but it peeked out from the clouds quite a bit. Sort of made it fun as the crowd would applaud whenever there was a gap and you could see the sun. My head and neck hurt now from all the leaning back as the sun was almost straight overhead.

That is bascially true. Through diet and excercise a type ii diabetic can reach blood sugar levels taht do not require medication, but this is remisssion, not a cure.
