  1. And I avoid people, careful to touch only what I need to. Taking all the precautions I can for that case. A mask isn't going to help much more, especially if you are constantly fiddling with it (which most seem to do) and then getting it on your hands and transferring it to surfaces anyways. Just need to use common sense.
  2. Nah, I am good and there are people that need them worse. I don't fall into a high risk group and avoid people the best I can. Hell, I hold my breath when I do have to pass people in the grocery.
  3. Here, they've kept saying a week. With kids, I don't have room to store multiple weeks of food that they will actually eat anyways, then you add in limits on products and I can't really buy more than a weeks worth even if I wanted to.
  4. The only thing a bandana does, is keep you from touching your face, it doesn't seal and doesn't offer much protection if any. Only helps with the mental discipline part of touching your face. Of course everyone I've seen wearing one, are constantly reaching up and adjusting it and messing with it, which completely defeats the purpose to begin with. This is all insane, just using some common sense is the best thing to do. If you lack common sense, nothing is going to help you anyways because you are probably doing stupid shit regardless.
  5. Nope, I just avoid people. Besides, I don't have any and people need mask worth than I do.
  6. No, I've just found available pickup times out so far now that it's unusable. You have to buy your groceries a week in advance of when you would need them. And now I love the newest recommendations that you shouldn't even go out and get essential supplies after telling us along we shouldn't be buying more than a week's worth so the supply chain can recover. So if you are following the guidelines, you now are out of shit and they are advising you to not go out and get what you now need. And on another note, why can't we get toilet paper on the shelves already, it's getting fucking insane. Even on Amazon, it sold out as soon as it pops up. I'm going to end up sick just from stress at this rate. This is getting really rough on those of us who really do suffer with anxiety issues.
  7. You have idiots in every groups and to add to that, there are millenials that are basically celebrating this and calling the Boomer killer. They actually think this is a good thing and that the boomers are the cause of all their problems. Freaking sad ass people.
  8. And yes, I did finally contact a law firm, though my message probably came across rather desperate, oh well. No, I am not dealing well with everything going.
  9. Okay, and that I think is where people are getting confused as they are looking at the percentages and saying population and not infected. Also Italy has oldest population in Europe from my understanding, so a lot higher numbers in the high risk group. I know it sounds like I might belittling the situation, I am not and am taking the matter seriously, there just seems to be a hysteria with people acting like half the population or something going to be wiped out.
  10. Is that 3% of the population or infected. I think the stat measure is getting mixed up and confused and according to Worldmeter, only 5% of cases in Italy are even serious or critical, that just cases and yes I just looked at the numbers as I am typing this. So I don't believe 12% among the population can possibly be correct, when only 5% of active cases are serious or critical and that's with numbers still increasing. I think that is the problem is people are getting all the numbers mixed up on what the percentage is based.
  11. Plus, I don't have a 9. I've had a concealed permit for ever, but have never carried. There is times I think about it, but the issue is, I wouldn't want to pull it unless someone else did first and by then it's usually to late. My first thoughts is more grab something to beat someone with, and I can say for a fact, that doesn't change when someone pulls a gun on me. Yes, it's happened once in a road rage incident that I never did understand why they guy was so pissed.
  12. Punching someone is far more satisfying, I'm old school.
  13. Thanks man, I try, but my tolerance is getting worn pretty thin. As for guns, I have one in the house, the rest are actually over 100 miles away. What's the point of keeping guns where I can't use them, far better to keep them where I can and if family members want to grab one to hunt, knock themselves out. Got lucky, I drive past two groceries to go to a smaller town with three big grocery stores with in a couple blocks of each other. The stores I went past were packed and I've heard selection in them are thin, where I usually go was actually improved from even last time, though the ground beef was a little thinner, everything else was better stocked. Still no TP though. Nothing stresses me out more than not being able to provide for my family and I am dealing with two things at the same time that both affect my ability to do that. Work stress doesn't bother me, I work well under stress. Personal stress though is an entirely different story and I don't deal well with it.
  14. Even at normal, not sure data supports 10%. I agree it's worth trying to reduce the numbers, but also sick of people acting hysterical like this is the apocalypse. Yes it's a fast moving disease and the worst is overwhelming the hospitals in the short term which will also affect their ability to care for other serious issues. But in the long range over the entire year, the disease isn't going to be anywhere near the top of the death charts, now the economic impact could be very bad though. Already seeing businesses closing for good around here. Small businesses, especially ones that have to lease a storefront are going to be absolutely devastated.
  15. The unintended consequences I was afraid of with stores limiting the number of people in the store are coming true. There are reports of stores shelves emptying out as people again start hoarding. To try to avoid the disaster we tried online and pickup option, they are now booked out a week in advance, so guess it's off to the grocery to see what fucking food I can get for the week again. GOD I HATE STUPID IRRATIONAL PEOPLE. I am really about to fucking lose my shit. Wish me luck as in my current mood, I can't guarantee I will not deck someone, but off to the grocery I am going.
  16. I don't want to rewind, that means 2020 is in the future and I want this year over. For me, it's literally has become a case of what is going to go fucking wrong next now and I am just about at the breaking point. Only good thing, I don't have to worry about starving as I have access to multiple freezer full, of course I don't want to do that for fear of making my parents sick and losing them, couldn't live with myself if I was the cause.
  17. I don't believe that, I've been to Oregon several times and it's always been sunny and beautiful the entire time I've been there. Just absolutely perfect weather everytime, now Arizona, that is a wet rainy mess from my experience.
  18. Yes, but I never take someone threatening my family likely, and I don't think most would. But with poor weather, plus now on multiple weeks of lockdown, I come here for escape from what is going on with an attempt at some reasonable discussion and that is not possible because people only care about feeding their hysteria or trying push their political opinion behind a thin veil. At least I don't try to hide who am I, what you see is what you get.
  19. There's one by me that as of last Sunday, was still holding service. I don't get it.
  20. Based on everything I've read, the lawsuit has no real chance, but yes I am facing that. A quarter of million dollars means I have nothing, my kids have nothing, I'm out on the fucking street basically.
  21. It's fucking raining, and I'd argue I'm the only with fucking perspective.
  22. I'm trapped in my house, I'm being sued for $85k to $300k, and I actually provide statistics and information. Some of the info is easy to find other info I provide is based from actually talking to people who have inside information (experience pharmaceutical drug researchers and scientist, long time experienced statisticians) and I am constantly told I am wrong because people have a fucking feeling, or current because it is bad right now. Yes it's going to be bad in the short term because this virus moves fast and seems to hit at once, but the numbers still will be no where close to 10%. But yes, I have a lot of reason to be fucking mad. And I didn't sleep at all last night after getting an actual demand letter, even if it was all a complete fucking joke because all I could think about is what I wanted to do to two people and I can guarantee none of it was nice.
  23. Nope, that's why I should log off because no matter what fucking fact and data I provide, you will choose to ignore it. Should we take this seriously, yes because there are at risk groups and it's important for them, but most people who get this will be FUCKING FINE!!!!!!!!!!!! All data projects a worst case of 3% for those infected and most who actually understand statistics think that number is still high because of the amount of people that has probably had it and had no symptoms or very mild. The numbers are still nothing to take as a joke, but at the same time, it's far from the fucking end of the world event some are acting like it is. The only reason we have to have lockdowns and so many fucking rules is because there are to many fucktards that can't use any common sense and act responsible by actually following social distancing rules and then they can become a carrier and accidentally infect someone in a high risk group. But yes, I'm the one that refuses to look at fucking facts, no matter how many I actually post and state.
  24. So even at three times deadlier than the flu, not even close to the top killer. It basically might make it close to accidents range.
