bikeman564™ Posted October 20, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2016 Before yesterday night's club gravel ride, I wanted to check the pressure of the fatso's tires. I unscrewed the valve stem cap (yes I use them), and it was stuck to the valve stem, thus unscrewing it from the presta barrel . I screwed it back in, tightened w/ pliers, aired up, and all was well I never had that happen before. The ride was great, 26 miles of gravel and some single track w/ 10 peeps including one noob good times
Reverend_Maynard Posted October 20, 2016 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2016 I hope you had a good pump with you! I've had the screw on chuck of my mini-pump unscrew the valve core when trying it to take it off before. What a PITA!

Several CO2 cartridges, someone always has a pump. How good on fat tires? Dunno. Oh, and one guy did this he face planted and hit his chin. Luckily just a scrape.
