That is an impressive amount of climbing for a century

I've vacationed in NH most of my life, so it was very special to me to have this be my first century.  I had a really hard time with the hills.  There were three that were hard and I stopped on.  I didn't walk up any of them, but I did stop.  It was really hard to get started again.

One goal I have for this year is to not stop on the hills.  I will lose weight and train for this.  Another goal is to only stop at three of the stops.  This was very well supported, they had five stops and I stopped at all of them.  There are three well placed stops, I only want to use those.  The last goal is to reduce my time by at least 30 minutes.  My moving time last year was 6:56.

Here's my ride.  http://connect.garmin.com/activity/345587060

Wow. You had almost 7000 feet.

it was the toughest century I ever rode.  The steepest section was 10 miles between sag stop 2 and 3.   Having 2 sags so close together should have been an alert.  From about mile 70 to 90 was a long climb, the steepest section being the last few miles.
