Surveying some IT folks

Maybe it's a lousy idea ..even 5-10 min. phone survey of handful of information technology folks....on their searching pain points for project documents. We're assuming obvious search access points. Just want to verify....as for reliable search results that's THEIR data and level of quality for searchability....for the entire organization, other non-IT departments. 

Yea, they have 3 different software applications for completed IT project documents.  Our group is nearly done nailing what we believe seems right, but it needs to be confirmed by users for  the most useful/critical search access points.  It's not hard since other non-IT depts. have projects too, Some similiarities. But other huge differences, especially engineering projects.

There will be user acceptance testing.
