Monday holidays are absolutely better than Fridays. Is this a question? The week before you look forward to the long weekend, so it's not so bad. Plus people aren't going to really work hard on Friday anyway Then the following week is a short week since you have Monday off. Two weeks are improved.
On a Friday holiday, you have one week where you're anticipating the long weekend and is a short week. But the Monday return is even worse. One good week and one worse week
