Ylva stopped by yesterday and it was the happiest I have seen Paulie and Lindy since Ryan passed. @Sofa_Loren was kind enough to let her stay for a few days. It has been fun to watch them play.

Smokey & CJ snuggling with mom before bed time. We had dinner with them last night and I had the pleasure of having CJ on my lap & Smokey curled by my side. Apparently they continued cuddling after we left.

Parker wants to know if you heard the good news?! It's time to start sending her sweet fluffy babies to their very own FOSTER HOMES! Parker is the sweet reddish/chocolate girl that found her self surviving on the streets of Parker, Tx then traveling on foot to Garland...all while pregnant! Once caught she was so relieved! Air conditioning and steady streams of yummy food! Parker has been an amazing mommy! Her pups are fat, fluffy and healthy! But they are about old enough to fly the nest and find their own foster and forever homes! We split the pups up into sets of two or three. We NEED FOSTERS!! DSDA provides all the supplies and medical care. You provide the love! If you are thinking of adopting take 2 and pick one!! DSDA's headquarters is in Richardson, Tx. Our vet clinics are there too. We ask that if you want to foster to live close enough taking the pups to vet visits is not a hardship for you. Good Golly Miss Molly! It's exhausting being adorable! Molly has been with us a few months now. She arrived with her brother, Murphy (adopted), after they were dumped in a rural area and wandered up to a home begging for food, water and a place to cool off. Fast forward and Molly has joined one of our Great Pyrenees foster families. If you're reading this and have adopted a Great Pyrenees or Pyrenees mix from DSDA, that pup has most likely been fostered with the famous Bockenfelds! Anyway, Molly has been struggling some with shyness. But we know she will soon blossom into an outgoing pup as she spends more time being coached and supported in her foster home. So, keep an eye out for this beauty as she gains confidence. We "know" she's a Pyrenees mix (double dewclaws) but any guesses on what else she could be? Post your thoughts below! -

...in general, but also, more specifically, not ones that required thousands of beagles to test on. I'm a beagle lover. Hard not to love them (for me) but probably not a common thing. What's crazy is how long this process takes. ...and, I've not seen where anyone really get's in "trouble" for this stuff. I this something we just have to remain "okay" with?
