petitepedal ★ Posted March 15, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 15, 2016 He is also an introvert and probably won't advertise on adventure cycling...DUH He wants to do the Lewis and Clark route to Oregon this summer. His vision sucks so his wife and doctor say no. Open road he is fine...he is cautious and not a speed demon...I am assuming some long days some maybe short...anywhere from 40 to 100 miles in a day.. Oh and sometimes he gets an idea or a route in his head (or he reads about it)...and he MUST go that way... Know anyone? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

petitepedal ★ Posted March 15, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted March 15, 2016 He is on facebook..and replied to my suggestion of advertising for a companion...he plans to do this on his solo bike..but..nope he won't advertise for someone wanting to average about 68 miles per day at about 11 or 12 mph...too many hoops to jump thru to place the advert AND every advert he has seen is talking 60 to 100 miles per day and faster than he wants to travel....
