My allergies make a terrific excuse. A cat would kill me. Some dogs I can tolerate, but I think allergy wise, it would still be a no. Plus all the work and hassle wouldn’t outweigh the benefits.

Nope. We did have station wagons, though. After a few years of original color, my dad would get them painted brown or maroon, so as to mask the rust. Rust used to be a bigger issue in our area. I’m sure the paints and finishes are better now.

I noticed my manager using an accent above the a in a very ordinary word yesterday. Until I cleaned my screen.

That would be a nightmare for Bills fans. We already traded the pick for Patrick Mahomes to the Chiefs a few years back. We’re more hoping he’s the next Marquise Goodwin.

Nobody had the cojones to draft a white cornerback in the first round, even though Cooper Dejean was given first round grades around 20th. Last time it happened was 1969.

Bills are on the clock again. It was dissatisfying watching them trade away our first round pick twice yesterday, but they felt there weren’t any bona fide first round picks left. They let the Chiefs draft a blazing fast, but tiny wide receiver, but they didn’t want him. The guy they apparently want is Adonai Mitchell from Texas.

Very little planned. A quiet weekend in the midst of several full ones. Taking a half day tomorrow. There’s an early morning bird watch Saturday I might go to. It would involve leaving around 6:45. Church on Sunday.
