    Denied? I didn't think they denied anyone anymore. My first car loan took three days to approve and I sweated it the whole time, thinking the answer was going to be "no". Now they hand out loans like cheese sammiches.

    The former cow-orker I mentioned earlier had a good job, making good money and he spent like he thought the gravy train was going to last forever. It did, until the company evaporated out from under him. Then reality set in - for a little while, at least. I watched him walk out of a company quarterly meeting -where they told us what our bonus was going to be - and start shopping online.

    I won't either, seeing as how all they have is herbal new age "health" teas. The bakery I can skip. The stuff is all pretty, but -meh- I can look, but it won't do me any good at 6AM. Cheese Hell ain't what it used to be, either. It used to be about twice as big before they coopted half the space for ridiculously priced, mediocre at best "Impaired Prepared Foods".

    Three bags in a quart of cold/room temp water overnight. I USED to get the Stash tea at Wegman's until people like @Airehead crowded it out of the tea aisle, so I went to Amazon and found...(I think)...20 bags for $14 or 100 bags for $19. No brainer.

    SO decided that lugging me to the art store three times this week was worthy of taking me to a new brewpub we'd not tried, Saturday. Beers were -ok- wood fired pizza topping (Arugula, balsamic and goat cheese) was really good, crust was -ok, better than most, but shockingly not as good as mine.
