    Can you summarize the UK vs US discussion of the pod-cast? To me, the e-cigarette experience just replayed the marketing of cigarettes prior to the 1970’s, when flavors and marketing that appealed to kids was finally outlawed. Flavored nicotine vap-juice only had one intended target audience, the adolescent population who weren’t yet addicted to nicotine.

    I wouldn’t want to buy a home and then have to rent the land, that seems crazy unpredictable to me. I’d rather rent with the ability to easily walk away if prices went up, or own outright. 1300 sf is on the smaller side of comfortable, too, but if outdoor living space could be constructed, it could work.

    For established smokers, yes it is better than cigarettes. Quitting smoking is hard, so a less-harmful means of fulfilling your nicotine dependence needs is good. But my fear was it would hook a new generation on nicotine, which it appears to have already done.

    Then her insecurities set in and she questions why you don’t love her enough to get her a peloton. It’s stupid expensive, but that doesn’t inherently make it a bad gift. Unless you expect her to get a second job/work overtime for the monthly fees or otherwise impact the family budget. Then it’s a terrible gift.

    Obviously, it’s important to know your spouse. If they’re an outdoor exercise enthusiast, they probably won’t like an indoor, stationary bike. If they’re sedentary and weight conscious, it wouldn’t make a good gift. But if they’re a fitness enthusiast who struggles to find time for the gym in the midst of their hectic day, it’s actually a pretty considerate gift.
