Is your computer liquid cooled or air cooled?  I did not know they even had liquid cooled desktops.

Thought you might be interested to know that I sent one of my class mates from high school the same print that I sent you.  She lives in Santa Fe and lost her sister over the holidays.  I'll be interested to see how she mats and frames the photo.  I think she was surprised that the slot canyons are so close to Santa Fe.

Well, my photo did not sell at the art auction this year.  One never knows from year to year.  After the one sold high last year, I still have a nice 2-year average.  I'll attach a few barrel racing photos I took last weekend. I am always amazed how athletic the horses are and love the expressions on some of the riders faces.  I'll send these via message, but do not feel right about posting them on the web.  I'll let the Montana High School Rodeo Association post the photos on their pages.

Here is one of my wife taken last year in Rocky Mountain National Park.  I'll send it to you, but I am not going to post it on the web.

How long are you going to be in Idaho?  I'll be driving to Kalispell, MT on Tuesday or Wednesday and  may be in Missoula on the following Sunday or Monday.

I received a nice email on Thursday.  An artist I know in Billings notified me that she had used one of my mountain lion photos as a model for a black and white painting for a recent show.  It sold quickly, and she is going to make a few prints to sell.  Attached is what she sent to me.

I sure hope you feel better soon.  It really concerns me that you have been sick for so long a period of time.  I had pneumonia several times as a child, but so far have avoided it as an adult.  I am so old now, that they do not recommend any more pneumonia shots.

You will like this true story.  I knew an older woman in California, that was very angry when a lot of Vietnamese moved into her town.  She was very petite, and prior to their arrival, she had access to many different clothes at the second hand stores.  Once they arrived, she had too competition for her liking.

Thanks for the nice Christmas card.  We are running a bit late on writing our letter and sending cards.

We did OK at the local juried art show.  They allowed entrants from over the USA, but I am not sure of foreign entrants.  We had 5 out of 6 selected for the show. The first three are mine and the last two are Gwen's.

Well we did OK this week and had 5 photos chosen for the juried art show at the Waterworks Art Museum.  Entries come from across the USA, and the show will be hung in late January.  Here are our entries, with mine taken in the SW USA and my wife's taken at home and in Tanzania.  Thought you might enjoy seeing them.

How are you doing with the weather situation?  Seems like Portland and surrounding area has been hit pretty hard this year.  We use to visit Portland several times a year when we lived in Burns.  I had hoped to make it to the coast this year to take photos, but changed my plans once the storms started rolling in.  Maybe, I'll make it next year.  Hope you stay dry and safe.

Here you go.  Hope you have a Great Holiday and enjoy your family gathering.  Your trip to deliver coats to the homeless was a wonderful gesture.

I did not want you to get the wrong idea about the folks in Oregon.  I knew the older Hammond, and probably saw his son at times.  They were the one arrested for the fires, but they quickly distanced themselves from the 'wild bunch' from Nevada.  The Bundys from Nevada and cohorts have been running wild and protesting, ever since the BLM backed off and let their father continue running cattle illegally in Nevada.  They are the ones that have taken over the building on the Malheur Wildlife Refuge.

Here may be one of the best character photos I've ever taken.  She is a long time artist in the Quick Draw and does very nice work.  She was working the crowd trying to get a better price when I snapped this photo. Do you like it?

You could always contact the builder I've used in the past.  He is a talented builder and a really nice guy.  Just give him your needs and measurements, as well as, likes and dislikes and see what he has to offer.  You can even tell him Marshall Haferkamp from Montana suggested you contact him.

Check out the Triple D game farm in Kalispell, MT.

I am in Kalispell, MT at the Triple D Game Farm.  I photographed the bear this morning, and the workshop will photograph mountain lions and wolves tomorrow.  We will photograph three different babies on Saturday.  I leave Sunday and will probably try to photograph animals at the National Bison Range located north of Missoula, MT.

Well, the crowd at the art auction and there were some very good photographs.  I had set a minimum bid of $400 on mine, they could not get that much, so I brought it home.  That is ok, as my 2-year average is still reasonable after the one sold for so much last year.

Hope things are going better for you.  At least you got to play with some wonderful puppies, as well as, your own.
