shootingstar Posted March 21 Share #1 Posted March 21 Art metal foil sculpture tonight with snow. Months from now, in our area, nostalgically thinking of fluffy cold snow and ...moisture.

A reservoir has completely dried up and the water level from the Rocky Mtns. into our river (Bow River) has been very low. Amount of snow now is puny. Not enough for the snowpack in the mountains for spring melt and to irrigate well the farms in southern Alberta. Our air is alot drier than your northeast region of North America. Some people get nosebleeds here, because air can get so dry. So water just dries up and disappears faster. After all southern Alberta gets the most sunny days in Canada --year round. Also provincial govn't is ramping up our wildfire fighting teams with more trained staff..so less reliance on other government teams from outside of Alberta. B.C. is also prepping.. Well - there's the solution - rain and snow (lots of it) up there where it will create massive snowpack and refill the reservoir and have a nice snow melt to fill that river.
