Razors Edge ★ Posted March 29 Share #1 Posted March 29 ...from $25 to $30/yr. @JerrySTL and @bikeman564™ might appreciate the costs and the balance between keeping costs reasonable and paying the bills. 1
bikeman564™ Posted March 29 Share #2 Posted March 29 I'm no longer a member of a bike club, but I think clubs in my area range from $20-35 for individual. Which really isn't bad if you partake in a lot of club activities. Some clubs have discounts at a local store which could pay for the membership.
JerrySTL ★ Posted March 29 Share #3 Posted March 29 Our basic ride insurance is $1,796.57 this year. It's based on 199 members. It's currently 159 members. This year, because of my doing, we purchased an additional $600 policy that covers board members. The first policy covers things that would happen on a bike ride. However if the club or board member gets sued for something like kicking a member out of the club, we weren't covered. All the board members were happy to purchase the additional coverage when I told them that they were covered for such eventualities. Currently our dues are $20 per year.
