I'm old enough to have used a real 5250 too. @Razors Edge That was one of the programs I had to fight to keep. Every time I'd get a new laptop, the 5250 emulator program was not installed. It was not part of the 'standard' build for our dept. I remember accessing the mainframe computer and running queries and downloading the data to my laptop.
