Popular Post maddmaxx ★ Posted May 28, 2016 Popular Post Share #1 Posted May 28, 2016 It's going into the high 80's today with high humidity. So the first chore, putting up the deck canopy is done. I have a Coleman 10x10 pop up that goes over the deck for the season. It gets nailed down to withstand bad weather. The grill is just outside the tent and it has LED lights to brighten up the evening. During summer showers we can walk straight out of the house and under the canopy. The shade is nice and the cat's absolutely love it. They take over the deck furniture during the day.
BuffJim Posted May 28, 2016 Share #2 Posted May 28, 2016 Nice. I have a pretty chore free day here at my parents. Will do a bunch of 'running' at tonight's steak roast, which has turned from a quiet dinner for four into a dinner party for 12 with a jazz pianist and a bluegrass picker. Fortunately we ate the Strawberry Rhubarb pie last night.
Ralphie ★ Posted May 28, 2016 Share #3 Posted May 28, 2016 Got some strawberries picked and the dog walked before it gets hotter than blazes. Oh, also stopped at Wawa on the way home and tried a new flavour of cappucino, bananas foster. Very good - every flavour goes with coffee.

Dottleshead ★ Posted May 28, 2016 Share #8 Posted May 28, 2016 My perceptions of Jersey are not good. I'm probably wrong and have only seen it from afar but maybe Moose can set me straight. Is Jersey a nice place to be?
Ralphie ★ Posted May 28, 2016 Share #9 Posted May 28, 2016 Other than the political corruption and high taxes and congestion in the northeast, jersey is fine.
