BuffJim Posted June 26, 2017 Share #3 Posted June 26, 2017 Vanilla Stout sounds good. Petite got scolded by the doc, she can only drink one glass of wine a day.

I was at the Marquette Trails Festival Saturday as a volunteer. Between events, I went to the bar at the ski lodge where this event was taking place to get a beer and a burger. (p.s. should have gone in to town for real food) A guy walks up behind me and asks the bartender for a high alcohol beer, a dark beer. I'm scanning the slim selection of craft beers in the cooler but don't recognize any dark beer labels. She looks and looks and finally pulls a bottle out of the cooler. "How about this? It's 8%." The guy agrees. She pops the top off the bottle and hands it to him. (I wasn't offered a glass either...) I asked what he got. He showed me the bottle. I said, "That's a saison! That's not a dark beer." He said he didn't care, took a swig, and walked away. Ok, you deserve your saison, dumbass. And I really should have gone in to town for real food. That made my crappy burger taste even worse. Stupid Busch Light bartenders. ugh...

When all you drink is Corona Light, a saison probably is considered "dark". ?
