  1. Anyone who knows me, knows I love two stroke engines. Robots are cool. It runs like Scooter too.
  2. Thats another problem. Scoot is now afraid of camera flashes too. He has always been a tough little guy. It must have been quite a storm. It probably doesn't help that he is limping around. We can't get him in for his second ACL operation for another couple of weeks. If the vet puts it off another week we'll need to take him somewhere else. Edit....You know I wonder.... Do you think he may have also got a jolt in his metal cage?
  3. while we were at work. The lightning took out our garage door opener, answering machine and popped all the GFIs as well as the main circuit breaker. It must have been pretty bad because It just started storming now and Missy and Scooter can't crawl any closer to me than they are now. Missy has always been afraid of lighting, but not Scoot. Nena and Scooter used to sit at the window and watch the lighting. Now Nena is watching it all by herself.
  4. Nice. The big 50th is an important one. Perhaps a new snowmobile? Come on Rich, now is the time to start throwing out hints. Just sayin....
  5. I would concentrate more on the insulation, maybe a newer more efficient HVAC system. then the thermostat. With our 12 year old well insulated house, if we turn the thermostat up a few degrees our AC wont kick on until early afternoon. We've just been leaving it set at the normal setting all day so the air circulates once in a while for the doggies. Same in the winter with the heat. It doesn't seem like the furnace works that much less if we turn down the heat. Our outside walls have 6 inches of fiberglass insulation, the attic has over 18 inches blown in insulation. Our old house was smaller but poorly insulated. It seemed the furnace/AC could barely keep up at times.
  6. Great pics, thanks for sharing. I love the fall season.
  7. Heard this yesterday on Saturday at the 70s. DO NOT click on it unless you want this silly song stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
  8. I cut my own grass, but I bought a riding mower a few years back. It cut my mowing time from 1 1/2 hours, to 45 minutes. I confess I'm a landscaper and I don't weedwack as often as my wife would like.
  9. We would need to grow 70's style porno mustaches. Lol, the funny thing is the gossipers are a bunch of upper middle aged guys. Truck drivers, garbage men, retired guys that fish, etc. Guys you see stopping for coffee at 4:30am every morning. They're nice enough guys but apparently a bunch of scuttlebutts.
  10. Nah, I think we're going to have some fun with it first. Maybe spend some quality time in the beer cooler, then come out with our clothing messed up.
  11. I've been commuting to work with the same woman since I moved into Wisconsin thirteen years ago. Every morning we stop at the same place for coffee and gas. All of us "regulars" know each other by name and share some light conversation. Its like Floyd's barber shop, the place to get all the latest gossip. Last week when we came in for coffee the store manager, (Zack , good kid) informed us that we were the latest topic in the rumor mill. They say its obvious we're sleeping together. We've been spotted flirting out in the parking lot. When we've driven in separate cars, I've been spotted pumping her gas for her, then spotted kissing her goodbye. And what makes it worse, they know we're each married because we both wear wedding rings. I confess it's all true. We are both married.... To each other.... For thirty three years! What a bunch of busybodies! When we asked Zack (who has known us for years) why he didn't tell them we were married. he said he was too busy laughing. See, this is how rumors start. And just for the record. Yep, I'm hittin' that!
  12. We belong to the Lake Beulah Snowmobile club in East Troy. Its the largest lake in that area. And the snowmobilers creed is, "you're never too lost or too cold if you have beer." We need a beer smiley.
  13. No beer??? I took up riding a bike again so I wouldn't have to give up beer. I confess I like Spotted Cow too. But when we're at a restaurant or bar, I only get it if its in bottles. When I get it on tap I noticed they sometimes try to swindle me by giving me something else and charging me NG prices .
  14. Very Nice. But it has no reflectors, kickstand or pedals?
  15. Making coffee, doing laundry, cleaning the dead bugs off of and mounting a video cam on my helmet. Our alarm goes off at 3:30am during the week. So sleeping in for me is 4:30am.
  16. Hey RG. About 45 minutes SW of Milwaukee.
  17. all the cool kids are hanging out. Seems nice. Wheres the beer fridge? Let me try a pic. Nice work SW.
