    I don’t see it at all inappropriate for people who have socialized and presumably had fun together In the past. Outside of an eighth grade dance, I think of “hooking up” as just meeting up, reconnecting, nothing sexual implied.

    There is nothing that prevents one from going swimming in the lake if nature calls after a few drinks. It’s just advised that the boat not be moving at the time.

    In the medical field, they say there’s money in shit. But somehow the doctors and plumbers don’t get it directly from the waste, we have to pay it to them instead.

    I think it’s because they’ve been mandated by congress to put some huge amount of money up-front into pension funds, and aren’t allowed to raise rates beyond inflation.
