JHMR could barely open: All lifts but Teewinot will remain closed for the day. Safety is our number one priority and our Mtn Ops team worked hard to open the upper mountain but Mother Nature had the final say. The dog shit issue here is a huge problem. A lot of Jackson dog owners suck. Too many. Every trailhead has dog bags and a bear proof garbage can just for dog shit. There are signs everywhere saying there is no poop fairy, clean up after your dog. And still dog shit is everywhere. My GF hit some on her mtb. It flew up and was all over her. I've been bitten twice in the last two months. My building now requires dog owners to have their dog DNA tested. If they find matching shit, you are evicted.
