I owned a 27 ft sail boat with auxiliary motor for a few years and sailed twice down the east coast of Ireland. Sold it eventually. Definitely not powerboat or jet ski.

I had a smart phone, hated it and replaced it with a dumb one when it fell in the loo. It makes/takes phone calls and txts and takes decent photos, for everything else I use a tablet and wifi. Still very much in the 21st century. Most people I see with smart phones seem to have their heads stuck in them.

I've got three and my wife has one. Why so coy?

Why does it keep flashing at me?

My cycling friend and I booked our flights for the next 'adventure', southern Portugal and Spain for 12 days in early November. Got a good deal on the price, €70 return but unfortunately our bikes will cost €100 return if and when we decide to bring them. We have the option of renting when we arrive but that will probably be more expensive if less hassle. We're flying Aer Lingus to Faro in the Algarve (S. Portugal) and plan to go east along the coast into Spain, then north before re-entering Portugal and returning to Faro. My last tour (solo) in the Algarve was in May 2013.
