View the full article My first thought was of those Scandinavian Lemmings following each other right off a cliff because that's what instinct tells them to do. I used to use that example to teach my athletes that instinct isn't always right but that you train with repetition so that you don't have to spend time thinking when you need to make a move - you've trained yourself to do it right regardless of instinct.
