Some Old Guy Posted December 5, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 5, 2020 Not a parody. RG's post reminded me of this. In the show "Wings", Lowell has recently separated from his wife, Bunnie. He is having this recurring dream that he recounts to his friends on the show, but no one ever offers an explanation. Maybe someone here can figure it out. In his dream, Lowell is on a train which is headed for a tunnel. Just before the train reaches the tunnel, it derails and crashes next to the tracks. Lowell is not hurt, but as he looks out his window, he sees another train go past him and enter the tunnel. A few minutes later, another train goes by and also enters the tunnel. Then after that, another train, and so on, until he wakes up. This dream seems quite symbolic in nature, yet very perplexing. Any ideas?
Randomguy Posted December 5, 2020 Share #2 Posted December 5, 2020 Interesting. I have to cogitate on this...

Lowell sees that other's lives are moving in the right direction, yet feels worried that he cannot get his life back on track, and doesn't know what to do to begin. Or something.
Some Old Guy Posted December 5, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted December 5, 2020 If you have not seen the show, "Wings", the Bunnie character is a bit on the insatiable side. Not sure if that means anything.
Zephyr Posted December 5, 2020 Share #5 Posted December 5, 2020 Seriously? You cant figure that out? It is hard to read sarcasm in text.

All those other trains were entering and exiting the tunnel, but not Lowell's.
