Fat Bikes To The Rescue!

...or "Let's get some darn kids onto bikes!"  Heck, maybe @denniS has a storehouse full of old gear and/or some "connections" in the Fat Bike community he wants to use.

From the latest Adventure Cycling blog:

The Piikáni Ksiwáínaka'si (bicycle) Program aims to provide Browning High School students access to fat bikes/plus bikes for year round use within the borders of the Blackfeet Nation.

We are a new club at Browning High School. Normally clubs fundraise by selling concessions at our sporting events. Covid-19 impacted our community very hard forcing our students into a remote learning situation for the past year which has made traditional fundraising impossible. We are only now (Mid-March 2021) returning to the school building. My goal is to get students on bikes after school this spring and to establish several "learning to bike pack" sessions over the summer. We would like to put together a fleet of at least 10 fat bikes as they really are the best kind of bike for where we live and will be riding. We will also need to collect helmets in a variety of sizes, framebags, "gas tank" bags, and seat bags to outfit bikes for excursions.
