Popular Post Airehead Posted April 6 Popular Post Share #1 Posted April 6 We have had the funeral. Lovely. We have had the repast at the church served by church ladies— country ham biscuits and chicken salad and stuff. Now to brother Don’s. Apparently it is hard shelled crabs on the sun porch and chicken and fixings in the dining room. I am not hungry at all. We also had the pre funeral breakfast which I thought would be it until 2:00ish. 1

Popular Post Kirby Posted April 6 Popular Post Share #3 Posted April 6 Cooking is often a way people show they care and want to help. Or it can help distract people. I'm glad you're just having a lot of food. At first I thought you were calling your family chickens and crabs. 3 1

She and her husband ran the Girl Scout camp, raised 8 kids, and she also made most of the wedding cakes between Courthouse Point and Earlsville, MD. This includes both of mine. She was everything you would want in family or community member. Plus she played cut throat poker like a champ. 1 1

She sounds like she was a wonderful person.
