There was only one year I ever rode New Year's Day and it was around 70 degrees. I'd like to get out for a little spin but there's a lot to do that day. Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted December 29, 2015 Share #10 Posted December 29, 2015 Cool, I'm riding too. When I lived in DC there is a NYD ride around Haines Point (Ohio Dr) by the Jefferson Memorial. It's a three mile loop along the Potomac and the DC waterfront. I rode that loop last year, around the Capitol Bldg, Supreme Court, White House and back to Mom's. 52 miles total. The NYD ride there was also a forum meetup ride for a few years. I met Zealot and his wife, LabDaddy, RudeSiggy, MDRoadie and some others there. This Friday I'm riding the Bianchi in Ohio.
