The V.P. at the front of the room raised his eyebrows and waved a hand in a way to invite elaboration. 

Emboldened the young fellow spouted on about ninety dollar shovels, and how he would sell the company shovels for $50.00.

The V.P. asked about the $90.00 shovels, and where the lad had found that figure.

The kid mumbled "well that's what I've heard"

 V.P. said he would look into it.

I looked into it today and we pay nine something for a shovel.

Gives me a warm & fuzzy for my fellow union brothers.
