The frustrating thing is I'm hammering the dude for missed deliverables and poor support and the dude is just rolling with the punches, basically just waiting for the next bomb to drop instead of getting out front of the issues and fixing them. I got tired of banging on him so I scheduled regular biweekly meetings so we can be on the same page going forward. Why, because that's what I would have done when I had his job...
