Correct, but if there is a mandate* (like at my job) that you wear a new “shift mask” daily, and you have every guest take a clean new mask, you’ve achieved that goal.
*ignore my previously voiced cynicism that it’s, at least in part, a cost and mask resource-saving measure to have the employees go to their divisions to get masks. We’ll focus on their official intent.
I bet if you worked there, it would be a different story. I know 2-3 people at work who wear N95 masks that they bought themselves. One is my unit head (🤣) who early in the crisis yelled at another worker for wearing an N95, claiming he was wasting precious resources. But before long he was wearing one, too. I think it sends a horrible message as a leader, as in “I wear an N95 because what we provide for you is insufficient, but good luck....” But I digress.
