    Rose Bowl

There's a parade? I bet the Badgers won that.
  2. This is about a one hour read. Pretty simple stuff. Don't overthink it.

    Rose Bowl

Good game so far. The Badger marching band crushed the Ducks half time. Regardless of who wins, they need to put a badger and a duck on the 50 yd line and let them battle it out.
  4. 10-18" A powerful storm system approaching from the northwest will bring significant snow to Jackson Hole and the Tetons from Tuesday night (New Year’s Eve) through Wednesday (New Year’s Day) and into Wednesday night. Skiers and snowboarders can expect a powder day to ring in the new decade on Wednesday. Widespread snow looks to arrive around 9-10 pm Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday night, with the heaviest snowfall rates occurring from early Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon. Total snow amounts from Tuesday night through Wednesday night will range from 10-18″ in the Tetons and 5-9″ in the Jackson Hole Valley. The jet stream will be oriented in a favorable position from northwest to southeast into Wyoming, which will help to enhance snowfall rates.
  5. I did not bring any back. Wish I had. I've tried finding it online. There is a weak substitute available. Maybe I can get sheephearder to send me the ingredients and make my own. Or I could join the Soviet army. I'm surprised customs missed it. My GF tried to bring some sardines back from France for me and the customs dude confiscated them because the had an ounce too much water in them. She thinks he just wanted them for his lunch.
  6. It's another drinking holiday. Do you think people are really into St. Patrick or just enjoying boozing?
  7. I had it everyday in Scotland. It is delicious.
  8. At my local butcher shop. This place is amazing.
  9. It was nice to meet you and your wife. Sorry I wasn't a better host. Did you see any bison?
  10. I could eat the herring. Sounds good. Try a Scottish Breakfast. Make sure you get extra haggis. Or you could always try Icelandic rotten shark.
  11. I don't have any paid TV service so I use Hoopla and Kanopy to watch tv. Sometimes I check out DVDs. Our library is pretty nice for a small town. There's a fireplace with couches around it.
  12. I have 7 books checked out at the moment. I usually have some records checked out too. I use the digital materials every now and then. I think I have to albums checked out on hoopla. I use Kanopy quite a bit. I like the Great Courses. My library hosts a lot of events that I attend as well. I heard Alex Honnold and Susan Orlean give talks. The Story Slam is pretty damn cool so I go to that a few times a year.
  13. Highest per capita income in the U.S. Also the highest income inequality. Makes things interesting.
  14. I'm certainly not glued to my phone. I use a pay as you go tracfone. 1 GB of data per year. Sometimes I will buy an extra GB for $10.
  15. That is why the millionaires and billionaires "live" here.
  16. I get that, but you are self-employed so a printer would be a work printer and most people don't live that far from town. But still my question, what are people printing?
  17. What is everyone printing? I don't think I've owned a printer at home in over 20 years. If I really need to print something, I'll use one at work or the library.
  18. Books and sasquatch. Three books, sasquatch socks, sasquatch bottle opener, and sasquatch on a bike sticker.

    Merry Fatmas

It was a beautiful day for a ride. I was one of the first out there breaking trail. Warm day, fresh snow, so much to love about it. It's so quiet, only the water flowing in the creek and the occasional pile of snow falling from a tree.
