My 9/24 bike ride

Hi @smudge when I was in the yoop in July one of my friends went to Marquette (I actually spelled that correct...anywho) the day the rest of us headed south. Not sure what trail he was on but :biker: he broke his collar bone? or something :( He's okay now, recovering and starting to ride again. The bummer for him was he had a mtb race in a few days which he could not do.

Oh no. Sorry for your friend. I'll be he was on one of the rocky sections. There are many up there. I was gonna take some pics of some of that stuff yesterday, but I wanted to just keep going. I walk some of that stuff; I hate it. Of course once you're used to riding it, it's actually safer/easier to ride it than walk it. But it was my first time on a lot of that trail, so I walked some spots.

A couple years ago I did a stall on a small bump and fell into a pile of rocks. Bruised from elbow to armpit; luckily, no broken bones. Glad your friend is mending up.
