Does checking into a hotel after 1 am...

Increase the probability you will be put in a handicap-accessible room? Do they hold them as long as they can, and then release them as the check-in numbers drop? Or is it a function of using Expedia or Hotels.com that has resulted in both of my Oakland hotel stays result in accommodations that I didn’t request and don’t need?

They probably consider derangement to be reason enough to put you there.

Everyone checking in at 1:30 am appears a bit deranged, no? So maybe that answers the question.

You are probably right.  Like the wheel chair accessible rows on the plane they are held till the plane is almost full and they don't need them

I had breakfast this morning in the hotel with a room full of Oakland Raiders fans preparing to pre-game. So no, I don’t think I appear deranged at all in comparison.
