At my age, I have nothing to prove. I do not plan to ride in the rain again. If I get caught, that's different, but if it's raining at the start, I'm out.

This month I am doing 1:15. I run Mon, Wed, Thu, and do "weight" training on those days too. Those were the days I was doing plank. I now try to do it at least once a day.

We had one. I got in a accident and dad replaced the front fender on his own. The one he got at the junk yard didn't have the wood grain.

for not wanting a pet? I grew up my entire life with pets, from the earliest days I can remember. A dog didn't make sense for two people who worked outside the house and were typically gone for 12 hours a day, so the wife and I had cats. As many as four at one time. They died off one by one, and then there were none. Now in our new house, we have mostly new furniture, and nothing is scratched (except the furniture that wasn't replace. We have a lot of wood flooring, none of which was scratched by dog claws. We don't have fur bunnies all over the house. We've been impulsive and left the house for days at a time with no notice or worries on how to care for the pets. We're also considering retiring young and still, I don't want a pet. I feel selfish.

Are you good at self-motivation? I usually am, but I am having a really hard time with guitar playing. I do truly love to play, and I understand I am not very good. That is not relevant. To help motivate me, I signed up for lessons, my first one is next Fri morning.
