    The last time I rode Tour de Tucson was 2012. Bill Walton rode it that year and I happened to pass him early in the ride. I kept looking up and up as I went by. Certainly different than the time I rode with @petitepedal

    Is it achilles pain, or could it be plantar fasciitis ? my heel pain would be worse in the morning when I got out of bed. Buying shoes with good arch support took care of that.

    I will watch Oppenheimer again. It was a good movie, but, I tried to watch it after a totally busy day, and , just before I got home I had dinner with 2 friends at North Mountain Brewery. A hard afternoon bike ride, followed by a burger and 2 craft beers, were not the best steps to watch a 3 hour movie in the evening....

    Memorial service for a long time member of our church tomorrow morning, that I will attend since I am one of the Elders, so, no club ride tomorrow. I will get in a ride tomorrow afternoon. 2 friends are taking me to dinner tomorrow evening; I will suggest North Mountain Brewing as we all like craft beer. Sunday will be church and a bike ride.

    I was a foreman at a factory in Danville IL, working 2nd shift. My uncle was a foreman there as well, also on 2nd shift. He told me "the Americans beat the Russians in hockey tonight!". I was able to watch the gold medal game on the weekend.
